Book Companies donate YOUR PROFITS made by Disgraced Central Park Five Prosecutor Linda Fairstein
Please sign this petition to DEMAND book companies to donate their profits made from books written by unscrupulous prosecutor Linda Fairstein to the Korey Wise Innocence Project.
I watched the Netflix miniseries, When They See Us, by Ava DuVernay and I was horrified by the actions of Simon & Schuster Penguin Books' Dutton's AUTHOR Linda Fairstein, while she was the head of the Manhattan District sex crimes.
When They See Us, depicts the injustice done to five Harlem teens who were arrested, convicted and imprisoned in the 1989 rape of a jogger, only to have those convictions vacated in 2002. They're more commonly known as the Central Park Five: Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson, Antron McCray, Yusef Salaam, and Korey Wise.
These boys had to endure years of abuse because of actions Simon & Schuster Penguin Books' Dutton AUTHOR Linda Fairstein's disregard for the facts. Such a thing would make her a successful fiction writer, but as an author of nonfiction works the characters are more than figments of her imagination but are real people, real people like Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson, Antron McCray, Yusef Salaam, and Korey Wise, who suffered.
Simon & Schuster and Penguin Books' Dutton, your companies cannot keep the profits in the light of the injustice, YOUR AUTHOR Linda Fairstein has done. The only thing to do to make this right is to DONATE ALL the profits to the Korey Wise Innocence Project.
Please join me, Tara J. Young, the advocate with the hip hop twist, and together, we can "do more than scratch the surface."

Why is this important?
Unscrupulous Prosecutor Linda Fairstein should have been FIRED. Instead, she was able to parlay her career as head of sex crimes unit of Manhattan District Attorney from 1976 until 2002 to successful crime author.
If she were FIRED because of her disgraceful actions that circumvent justice these prominent book companies would not have done business and donating the profits they made publishing this unscrupulous prosecutor Linda Fairstein must be donated to the Korey Wise Innocence Project.
